Dunkeld from Telford Bridge across the River Tay. The remains of the ancient Cathedral (where the early Kings of Scotland were crowned) can be seen on the left. The Cathedral was founded in the 9th Century, and was destroyed in 1560 during the Reformation. Most of the remains date from the 14-15th Century, including the tower with its 15th Century wall paintings. |
