| After the gentle climb out of Drymen, the Rob Roy Way enters Loch Ard Forest. Unfortunately, like many 20th Century forests in Scotland, the Loch Ard forest is a predominantly spruce mono-culture, with little or no age structure. Here Ben Lomond can be seen above the trees. |
